Zac Sunderland is a homeschool kid from California who is just about to finish (at the end of this month if all goes well) circumnavigating the globe alone in a 36 foot sail boat. I'm sure that my sister Angie would have reacted the same way as Zac's parents if Nick or Melinda had wanted to do a trip like this as their early years were not unlike Zac's.
