in the meantime

While the yogurt was culturing the kids and I spent 3 hours clearing the new property. Scratches all around for all of us. Joe made me wear his gloves since I was too lazy to go back to the house and get my own so my hands, at least, were scratchless. We learned the difference between carrying many items one at a time and using a pallet to transport many items at one time.
At 3 we made it over to a friend's house where the 4 kids played in the Mt Tiki-Soki. All of us being homeschoolers, we turned it into a science experiment - analyzing water pressure and velocity and it's ability to propel various objects into the air, or not.
There's always something to be learned when you homeschool.

There's a lot I miss about homeschooling!

I've never made yogurt but my Mom did all the time when I was growing up.
